Check this out. I’m not sure if this applies in our country, but I think it’s a good read nevertheless. 🙂

It’s not implemented heavily here. 🙂

Not being implemented here – or just like Harry said not heavily”, but I hope it’ll be soon. We really need this. We’re becoming more and more dependent to what’s available online, it’s not bad, but when we forget to cite them, that’s what makes it so bad!

Awesome share James! I agree with Ms Pamela, our dependency on easily accessible material online will get the best of us if we aren’t disciplined soon enough. But insofar as our community’s humble roots are concerned, I don’t think an issue like this will be treated as heavily as to cause multiple disputes amongst our ultimately resourceful kababayans :p

There are areas where it is implemented but there’s just a lot of ways around it, especially in our country.

But subtle acceptance of our country to products/software that were created for this sole purpose is a good sign.
    I.E. Spotify, Creative Cloud.

Thanks for this great awareness James. Quite the – learn the hard way story. Though that pic seemed to be really baiting for some defenseless image user, it’s still someone’s work. A great reminder that we can be financially liable for using anything not ours especially those with copyrights. Too bad they had to pay the ridiculous cost.

Thanks for sharing this, james. It’s better to be informed than to know nothing at all! So much for the saying that ignorance is bliss… I think i’ll take my time to learn more about the in-depth information on copyright laws. 🙂
